COMEDY & TRAGEDY AND A TOUR DE FORCE

There is a production that has received little notice in the NY metro area and is a tour de force not to be missed. A one man show by the greatly talented Jim Brochu (which he also wrote) about the life and times of the late, great Zero Mostel. In fact, once Jim Brochu enters the stage you will feel that Zero Mostel has been resurrected---as you will see in this brief clip from the official site:

Besides going into his career, his personality, and the political upheavals of his era you will find Jim Brochu has Mostel's intonations and rhythm down pat. You will also hear some of his great witticisms----"....they always say I change a script---no, I just add things sometimes like announcing a football score in the middle of Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum---but I did it in character---Lions XII - Bills VI..."

The production was directed by Piper Laurie and if you loved Zero Mostel or if you just appreciated his great talent----do not miss this in its limited engagement at the St. Clements Theater on W. 46th St in NYC.
